The public is invited to attend this program.\n\n\n\nIn collaboration with the Hopkinton Public Library\, the Hopkinton Women’s Club invites the public to a special program. The event celebrates both Women’s History Month and the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding. \n\n\n\nThis lecture explores the roles women played on the battlefields of Europe and America during the Victorian era. It highlights Florence Nightingale and Clara Barton\, focusing on their vital work as nurses during some of the era’s most brutal wars.
