On October 19, 2023, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs posted a Certificate of Suspension at Golden Pond Assisted Living at 50 West Main Street in Hopkinton.
The notice states that Golden Pond may continue to operate but shall not accept new residents until further notice.
Golden Pond was previously suspended in June after state inspectors noted they had failed a compliance review. The organization came under additional scrutiny after one of their residents, Jim Noon, went missing and was found days later in the woods behind the facility. Mr. Noon ultimately died of his injuries.
This is a developing story.

Management making residents write false reviews on internet because golden pond is not a good place to live for your family member. All of a sudden there are many reviews put in my residents. Some residents left to find a better place to live in. Nurses aides or nurses don’t go there! Good nurses aides and nurses get yelled at or get fired so they can hire cheaper help and less help. I work as a cna now for a better assisted living that are professional. My boss at golden pond Grace yells a lot at the CNA’s. New nurse boss Kim isn’t nice either. Please don’t go there. I am happier now that I left.
Don’t put your family there. Boss Grace yells at CNAs and management won’t listen to staff. Good CNA’s and nurses quit and find better jobs. New nurse boss Kim is not nice too. They have very little supplies residents and staff brings in our own soap and paper towels for residents. Don’t read recent reviews because those are residents and Golden Pond told them to write a good review. I have a new job and CNA’s are not yelled at. Golden Pond doesn’t care about the workers. It is the worst place I have worked at as a cna.
