Today, in a joint statement, HCAM and HopNews announced they have entered into a definitive agreement to bring expanded coverage of live and on-demand content to HopNews readers through HopNews.com. On Wednesday, HopNews launched a dedicated video section that contains a diverse range of HCAM programming, from community stories, coverage of schools and town meetings, and local sports.
“We’re excited to work with the the team at HopNews to expand the audience for all our Hopkinton centered programming,” said HCAM Station Director Jim Cozzens.
Said HopNews publisher Peter Thomas: “HCAM is a treasured resource. We’re grateful for their ongoing coverage of the events of importance in Hopkinton, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer their content to our readers.”
HopNews readers can expect to see HCAM content refreshed regularly, and there are plans to offer on-demand content exclusively to HopNews subscribers.
HCAM is a non-profit operating the Community TV Stations of Hopkinton. With their assistance, residents are able to make TV shows for Community & Government Access (available on HCAM-TV) and the Public Schools (available on HCAM-ED).
