Our little town has been eventful this week. From drunk drivers to rogue junk trucks, people apparently can’t stop bowling with their cars as dogs and deer end up the unlucky pins. Traffic lights bow out and coyotes roam. More mayhem next week!
Arrests
- On November 28, Justin Isaacs of Milford was arrested on charges of:
- Operating a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol
November 28
- Caller reported junk trucks spilling into the roadway by Lumber St.
- A tree in the road was reported on Saddle Hill.
- Someone reported a box in the roadway.
November 29
- Officer Ekross and Schofield assist at the traffic lights when it is reported that the lights are not working.
- Woman wished to speak with a officer about someone trying to break into her home.
- 911 caller reported she was being blocked in by another vehicle. Officers responded and she was able to leave.
- Multiple 911 calls report a three vehicle accident on West Main St.
- Caller reported a white sedan driving all over the road. The plates reported could not be identified. Ashland was alerted as the vehicle was heading their way.
November 30
- Man reports a car has been parking at the bottom of his driveway and would like it to stop parking there.
- Officer Staback assisted a report of a DoorDash driver that damaged some property.
- Caller wishes to speak about someone giving out his personal information.
December 1
- Caller reported a dead dog on the side of the road on Cedar St.
- State requested assistance with a crash they have on the side of I-495 N.
- Officer LaTour checked on a report of a vehicle blocking an entrance. The vehicle appeared to be delivering pizza and was gone with LaTour arrived.
- Someone dropped off a bag with a ID and money to the station after it was left at their business. The owner of the bag was informed and said they would come pick it up.
December 2
- Man reported a dead deer on the side of Front St. Animal control responded to pick it up.
- Mother walked in reporting her son was hit in the head by a rock thrown at him. He needed staples.
- Woman was advised to call animal control when she expressed concern for a coyote running around in her neighborhood. She was worried someone would be attacked by it.
- 911 caller reported smoke coming from his boiler but there was no fire. He was advised to get all the occupants out. Ashland responded as well as Hopkinton.
December 3
- Officer McKeon and Staback respond to a report of a neighbors fire alarm going off and the residents did not appear to be home. The officers tried contacting the homeowners, but no one answered. There did not appear to be a hazard from outside.
- Man reported an employee was fired Friday, but showed up to the premises intoxicated. The staff was advised in case a future incident occurred again.
- Several 911 calls reported a hit and run occurred between a vehicle that hit a woman. The woman was transported to Milford hospital.
