Over the past week, there have been numerous car accidents, issues with dogs, and suspicious smells alerting the fire department.
January 16
- Caller reported a white pickup truck with a plow following them too closely on Main St. The truck then flashed its high beams and cut in front of the caller.
- Woman reported a plow truck swiped her daughter’s car on Spicebush Ct. causing damage. A crash report was taken.
- Officers Diaz and Walker responded to an accident on South St. There were no injuries.
- 911 caller reported a car accident on Chestnut. Responding officers contacted DPW after taking a crash report to notify them of damage to street sign.
- A second car v.s. pole accident occurred on Wood St. The driver suffered a personal injury. Ted’s was contacted.
- DPW responded to a report of a semi truck stuck on the hill of Wescott Dr.
- 911 caller reported a state PD cruiser hit a guardrail on I-495 N.
- Officer Ekross assisted a woman whose mailbox was hit on Wood St.
January 17
- Woman reported losing power on Walcott St. and then thought she her a pop come from outside. She was unsure if it was a transformer. Eversource arrived to scene to fix the complex’s power. There did not appear to be a problem with the transformer.
- Officers Grimley and Walker checked on a report of a dog that had been barking for a while on Cunningham St.
- Woman was advise to speak with the supervisor at the post officer regarding a package she never received.
- Officer Normandin investigated a report of an inside odor on Lumber St.
January 18
- Officer Proctor was enroute to a report of a dog barking in distress on Greenwood Rd., but was called off when the owner was located.
- Officer Beloin took a report of identity theft when a walk-in was concerned of fraud.
- Walk-in reported a lost engagement ring and asked it be logged.
- Multiple officers responded to a report of a road rage incident on Cedar St. where the other vehicle took off.
- Ashland notified Hopkinton PD of an erratic driver on East Main St. The vehicle was checked in on.
January 19
- Caller reported kids skating on the pond outside their house on West Main St. and was concerned it wasn’t safe. Officer LaTour responded.
- Caller reported check fraud.
- An individual called about an aggressive dog on Pratt Way.
- Officer Beloin gave advice to a woman looking to remove her relative’s abandoned vehicle from her property on Main St.
- An adult daycare facility on South St. called 911 to report a missing elderly woman. Upon arrival, the woman was found.
- Officer Normandin spoke with a driver that drove on the wrong side of the road on West Main St. and hit cones. The driver said they weren’t aware the cones meant not to drive.
- 911 call reported a motor vehicle accident with an injury on School St. Officers contacted the school to get a ride for a student.
January 20
- Caller from Whirty Cir. reported an inside odor of gas in the boiler room. The fire department responded.
- Officer Saletnik assisted traffic due to a complaint from Fruit St.
- Animal control was contacted due to a deceased turkey on Hayden Rowe St.
- 911 caller reported a car accident on Cedar St.
- Man reported his passport was stolen.
January 21
- Westborough requested assistance by the town line. They were looking for a man that attempted to break into his parent’s house.
- Multiple calls reported a metal item in the middle of I-495 N by the 55 mile marker. State police responded.
- Worker from Main St. requested make a report of shoplifting.
