Friends of Whitehall Annual Meeting: Rusty Phipps’ Shares Growing Up Whitehall

Where: Sanctuary at Woodville, 249 Wood St. (Rte. 135)
Parking: Along the Woodville Rod and Gun Club driveway.

Rusty (Russell H.) Phipps, a long-time resident of Woodville and avid outdoorsman, will share his personal experiences growing up in the Whitehall community. He will also discuss interesting topics such as the banding of loons, floating islands, his father’s sawmill, the “big” island, and his grandmother’s visit to the “springs” on a trolley.

Rusty will further share stories about Ora Cheney, a mysterious sunken boat, the fault line, Bay Path, and more.

Join the camaraderie and bring your own stories, past and present, to share.
