HOPKINTON, MA: Hopkinton High School’s varsity baseball team honored its nine seniors Monday night with a decisive 8–2 victory over Tri-Valley League rival Norwood.
The Hillers came out strong, showcasing the talent and leadership that have defined their season. Offensive standouts included Pedroli, who went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and a run scored, and Simulis, who went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and a run. On the mound, Rych and Comiskey each pitched a scoreless inning, combining for three strikeouts.
Following the game, the team held a ceremony recognizing the senior players’ contributions to the program. The group was celebrated for helping lead Hopkinton to the final eight in last year’s MIAA Division 2 state tournament and for setting the tone this season with their commitment and leadership.
