A woman reported hitting a vehicle that was a complete mismatch to the plate number. AAA was called due to cars dying in the middle of the street. Reports of suspicious vehicles, water on roads, smelly puddles, erratic drivers, bank fraud, and even elusive ex-boyfriends flood police. October 10
- A woman called to report an accident that had happened earlier in the day. Since the accident was in the past, it could only be logged and not investigated. She stated it occurred in front of Cumberland Farms were the two lanes merge to one. The truck that hit her didn’t have enough room when it merged and ended up hitting her. Both operators decided to move along. She got the plate number, however, it turned up a vehicle that was not the one that hit her.
- 911 caller reported her car died in the middle of West Main St. She contacted AAA.
- Leicester PD requested that Hopkinton PD speak with one of their residents involving an incident that happened in their town.
- Officer Normandin responded to a report of an individual being sexually harassed by a neighbor.
- Milford put out an alert for a 16 year old male on foot. There was a negative find in the area.
October 11
- Officer Diaz provided a motorist with directions for gas. He was directed toward Milford.
- A 911 call reported the vehicle was smoking.
- A walk-in reported bank fraud.
- Officer McKeon assisted a report of water flowing onto the road on Saddle Hill. The pool was being drained on Edge Hill Rd.
- A report of a suspicious looking late model Toyota Camry came in. The vehicle had Maine license plates.
October 12
- Officer Staback responds to a report of a puddle on School St appearing to have some chemical in it. The report stated it have a strong smell. Staback confirmed the liquid was drying and no longer had a smell.
- Caller reported an erratic driver swerving in and out of lanes.
- A call came in reported a suspicious looking vehicle at the park. The driver was circling around watching the kids. The operator appeared to be by himself in a newer black Toyota Corolla. The driver was described as a middle aged man with a goatee. He had left the park and returned.
- Officers McNeil and Staback respond to a call of an erratic operator driving below the speed limit and swerving between lanes.
October 13
- A woman requests to speak with an officer regarding a vehicle parked in her driveway. She suspects it could be her ex-boyfriend.
- Officers Schofield and Walker offer a courtesy transport to two individuals walking on East Main St. They take them to Upton.
- Officers Beloin, Burchard, and Grimley speak with a man and woman moving cones near Start Line. The two individuals stated that they were waiting on a bus.
October 14
- Caller reported her car broken down on Hayden Rowe and her hazards were not working. She was able to reverse into a good spot and awaited AAA.
- Woman reports someone from New Hampshire has been harassing her and she’d like to speak to an officer.
- A woman reported a driver veering into other lanes near West Main St. The driver then pulled into Price Chopper and the woman went to check on the driver. The driver seemed flustered and confused. Officer Normandin reported to Price Chopper but did not find the driver.
- A caller stated a bunch of kids were running near Hayden Rowe. The caller suspected what they were doing was no good and unsafe.
- Multiple units respond to 911 calls of gunshots near Pond St but they are unable to find anything.
- A man calls to report his dog is missing. It is a black and white, 1.5 ft tall terrier. He’s informed that the PD has not received information about a dog, but they’ll be on the lookout.
October 15
- A man wished to log an incident of a vehicle sitting in his driveway before it drove away.
- Walk in returned a pair of airpods with the pairing name “Slay Queen”. They were found on the high school football field.
- 911 caller reports someone rang their doorbell and took off into the woods. Looking at the Ring camera, the individual seemed to be hiding to avoid the camera. Officers Normandin and O’Neil follow up by locating a vehicle that took off in the area. The situation appeared to be the Halloween activity of “Booing”.
