June 3

  • Officer Beloin checked on a vehicle that pulled out in front of her on W Main St. with all its hazards on. The driver was okay; she was just picking up someone for Lyft.
  • A resident reported a noise complaint on Revolutionary Way. Officers informed them that they had responded to the same noise complaint several times and had not found the source.
  • Officer Vaz assisted with a tire change on Ash St.
  • A caller reported speeding vehicles on Hayden Rowe St.
  • A caller reported that someone had been using his wife’s name on social media. Officer Walker determined there was no criminal activity but gave advice on how to mitigate the problem.
  • An anonymous caller requested information on fraud prevention.
  • A caller reported a suspicious item in her late father’s belongings at her house.
  • Officers Diaz and Vaz responded to a report of a man acting suspiciously and asking customers for money.
  • A 911 caller reported a fight. Several officers responded and separated the parties.
  • A 911 caller reported that someone had gotten out of their vehicle and started yelling and screaming. Officers responded but did not find the individual.
  • DPW was contacted about a tree down on E Main St.
  • A caller reported her vehicle was stolen sometime overnight.

June 4

  • A caller advised that a big opossum had been hit in front of Elmwood School. DPW was contacted to remove it.
  • A caller stated that a roofing company’s trucks were parked in a dangerous spot on Wood St.
  • Officer Matos assisted the FD with a CO alarm.
  • A walk-in stated he would like a road rage incident logged for future reference.
  • Officer Buentello spoke with a resident who was concerned about damage caused by a paving truck.

June 5

  • Officer Buentello responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hayden Rowe St. No one was injured.
  • A knife bag was found on the road on E Main St.
  • A caller requested a motor vehicle check for a car parked in a bad spot on Hidden Brick Rd. all day. The owner stated he was having tree work done and parked his car there for the day, but went to move it after the call.
  • A caller reported that a turtle had just laid eggs in her yard and would like information on how to protect them. ACO advised the caller.
  • A voicemail was left with DPW regarding a raccoon that was hit on Rocky Woods Rd.

June 6

  • Neighbors stated that people outside a business were being unreasonably loud. Officers advised the business to lower the volume of its music.
  • Officers gave courtesy transport to a party walking down W Main St. back to their residence.
  • A caller reported a tree on fire at the end of a property on Curtis Rd.
  • Passersby reported a car that had crashed into a rock and was stuck. The vehicle was partially blocking traffic. Officer Quinzani responded, and the operator had no injuries.
  • A caller reported a road rage incident they would like logged.

June 7

  • The caller reported a possible underage drinking party on Front St. The caller stated he saw two teenagers throw beer cans by the roadway.
  • The caller requested a check of a location where her daughter’s phone was pinging. She had not heard from her. Officers checked the location and tried to get more information from her family. Camera footage was checked by nearby businesses. The officers followed up with the daughter’s friends to get more information.
  • A robin was located on the side of Grove St. ACO was notified.
  • A 911 caller reported an acid spill in the dumpster and that it is smoking.
  • Multiple 911 callers reported a two-car accident on W Main St. One of the drivers was reported to be aggressive. Officers spoke with the parties after they were separated.

June 8

  • The caller stated that their mailbox was hit overnight and wished to let the department know that they would file a claim with their insurance. The caller’s husband did hear the crash around midnight.
  • Officer McKeon moved a turtle from the side of Cedar St.
  • A 911 caller asked about the state park’s protocol regarding kids playing. The caller reported that an older kid kicked off a younger one for not having a skateboard. Officer Normandin informed the caller that this was not a 911 matter.
  • Officer Vaz responded to a report of a massive turtle trying to cross the road on Cedar St.
  • A 911 caller reported an erratic operator.
  • Officer Rathburn-Goodman assisted with a custody dispute.
  • A caller reported they were stuck in the state park.
